Welcome to Syvek Knives. We are committed to delivering your orders quickly, safely, and efficiently. Below you will find the details of our Shipping Policy, which complies with European Union consumer protection guidelines regarding delivery standards.
1. Order Processing Times
All orders are processed and prepared for shipment within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
Please note that processing times may vary slightly during high-volume periods or holidays. If there is a significant delay in the shipment of your order, we will contact you immediately via email.
2. Shipping Destinations and Estimates
We primarily specialize in shipping across Spain (including mainland and islands) and other countries within the European Union (EU).
- Mainland Spain (Península): Estimated delivery time is 2 to 5 business days from the shipping date.
- Spanish Islands & Territories (Baleares, Canarias, Ceuta, Melilla): Estimated delivery time is 5 to 10 business days. Please note that shipments to certain territories may require additional documentation or experience minor transport delays.
- Other EU Countries: Estimated delivery time is 3 to 10 business days, depending on the destination country.
*Please note that delivery times are estimates provided by our couriers and are not strictly guaranteed, although the vast majority of orders arrive well within these windows.
3. Shipping Rates
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and clearly displayed at checkout before you finalize your payment. We may offer promotional free shipping based on specific order value thresholds, which will be advertised directly on our website.
4. Order Tracking
When your order has shipped, you will receive an automated email notification from us containing a tracking number and a link to track its progress. Please allow up to 24 hours for the tracking information to become active and update in the courier's system.
5. Maximum Delivery Window (EU 30-Day Rule)
In accordance with European Union consumer rights, if we fail to deliver the goods within 30 calendar days from the date of your purchase, you have the right to request a full cancellation of the order and a complete refund of all amounts paid. If an exceptional delay occurs, we will reach out to offer an extended delivery timeline or an immediate refund option.
6. Customs, Duties, and Taxes
- Within Spain and the European Union: Because we ship directly from Spain, all shipments to addresses within mainland Spain and the EU are free from customs duties. Value Added Tax (VAT / IVA) is applied and collected at checkout as legally required.
- Special Territories (e.g., Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla): Orders shipped to these regions may be subject to local tax import regulations (such as IGIC or IPSI) and local customs processing fees. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer and are collected by the local authorities upon delivery.
7. Incorrect Shipping Addresses and Undeliverable Packages
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the shipping address entered at checkout is accurate and complete. Syvek Knives is not responsible for orders that cannot be delivered due to missing or incorrect address details provided by the buyer.
If a package is returned to our facility because it was undeliverable or unclaimed, we will contact you to arrange reshipment. Please note that additional shipping fees may apply to resend the package.
8. Damages and Lost Packages
If you receive your order and the items are damaged, or if your tracking information shows the package was delivered but you have not received it, please contact our support team immediately at support@syvekknives.com.
For damaged items, please keep all packaging materials and damaged goods, and provide photographic evidence so we can file a claim with the carrier and arrange an immediate replacement or refund at no extra cost to you.
