Refund and Return Policy

Thank you for shopping at Syvek Knives. We value your business and want to ensure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. As our store operates and sells within Spain and the European Union, your purchases are fully protected under the EU Consumer Rights Directive and Spanish consumer protection laws (Ley General para la Defensa de los Consumidores y Usuarios).

1. Right of Withdrawal (14-Day "Cooling-Off" Period)

Under EU and Spanish consumer protection laws, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase contract and return your item for any reason within 14 calendar days from the day you, or a third party indicated by you, received the physical goods.

You do not need to provide any justification or face any penalties within this 14-day period.

2. How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal

3. Return Shipping and Costs

  • Return Shipping Costs: In accordance with EU regulations, the customer is responsible for paying the direct costs of returning the goods, unless the product arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.
  • Return Timeline: You must send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 14 calendar days from the day you communicate your withdrawal from the contract to us.

4. Condition of Returned Items

To qualify for a full refund, items must be returned in their original packaging, unused, undamaged, and with all original accessories included. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling them beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

5. Refunds and Timeline

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of standard delivery (with the exception of supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).

  • Timeline: We will process the refund without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days from the day we are informed of your decision to withdraw. However, we may withhold the reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
  • Refund Method: We will carry out the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

6. Legal Warranty for Defective or Non-Compliant Goods

In addition to your 14-day right of withdrawal, products purchased from Syvek Knives are covered by the mandatory legal warranty under Spanish law. If a product turns out to be faulty, defective, or does not match the description within the legally established timeframe from the date of delivery, you are entitled to:

  • A repair of the item,
  • A replacement of the item,
  • A price reduction, or
  • A full refund (termination of the contract).

If your knife arrives defective or experiences a manufacturing issue covered by the legal warranty, please contact us immediately at support@syvekknives.com with your order details and photographic evidence so we can arrange a solution at no cost to you.

7. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

Please note that the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • The supply of goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized (e.g., custom-engraved knives).
  • The supply of goods that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.
